The start of the season for the Holzem brothers took place in Adria, Italy, for the WSK Champions Cup. Both drivers had to deal with the tricky wet conditions, but despite that, both managed to reach the pre-finals. In the pre-final both drivers had chances to move to the final but fortunateness both had to retire.
